Houston to Host Afro Hair Summit 2026 Celebrating Textured Hair, Barbering, Nail Art, Makeup and Fashion as Cultural Art Forms
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Beauty professionals, cultural creatives, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from across the country will gather in Houston for the Afro Hair Summit 2026, a first-of-its-kind event positioning textured hair artistry, barbering, nail design, makeup artistry, and fashion as powerful cultural expressions and economic drivers within African American, African, and Latino communities.
Produced by Beauty Under One Roof, Afro Hair Summit will bring together licensed cosmetologists, barbers, salon owners, educators, product manufacturers, influencers, and beauty entrepreneurs for a multi-day cultural and professional experience designed to celebrate artistry, advance education, and create economic opportunity.
The summit is expected to attract more than 1,500 beauty professionals, influencers, and industry decision-makers, along with more than 120 beauty brands, vendors, and distributors, positioning the event as one of the most dynamic gatherings of textured hair professionals in the United States.
